Faud Haghighi is a civil litigation attorney whose practice is centered on handling difficult, high-stakes cases—matters involving disputed liability, complex causation, multiple defendants, or substantial financial exposure. He is known for taking on cases other firms decline and developing them aggressively from the outset, with trial as the baseline strategy rather than a last resort.

Over the course of his practice, Mr. Haghighi has resolved cases resulting in tens of millions of dollars in settlements and verdicts for injured clients. These recoveries include matters involving national retailers, large corporate defendants, and insurance carriers, often in cases where liability was contested and meaningful recovery required sustained litigation pressure rather than early compromise.

Mr. Haghighi’s current practice is devoted exclusively to civil litigation, with a focus on serious personal injury and liability disputes. He has successfully handled hundreds of cases involving auto collisions, premises liability, product liability, general negligence, bicycle and pedestrian accidents, and claims against cities and municipalities arising from dangerous conditions on public property. His approach emphasizes early investigation, disciplined case development, and strategic positioning designed to create leverage as litigation progresses.

Admitted to the California State Bar in 2012, Mr. Haghighi began his legal career at the Law Offices of Thomas W. Gillen, where he advanced from law clerk to associate attorney. During this time, he litigated a wide range of complex family law matters, including high-asset divorce cases involving estates valued in the tens of millions of dollars, as well as trials, contested Requests for Order, domestic violence proceedings, child support hearings before the Department of Child Support Services, and evidentiary hearings under Family Code §217. These cases frequently involved significant financial assets, credibility disputes, and aggressive litigation—experience that continues to shape his courtroom-driven approach today.

Mr. Haghighi has handled cases from initial investigation through jury verdict and regularly represents clients throughout Orange, Riverside, San Diego, and Los Angeles Counties. A significant portion of his practice comes from attorney referrals, particularly in disputed-liability, multi-party, and complex causation cases requiring careful preparation, persistence, and a willingness to litigate through resolution.
Mr. Haghighi earned his Juris Doctor from Whittier Law School, where he obtained a certification in Business Law, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego.

He is admitted to practice before the State Bar of California, appears pro hac vice in Nevada, and is admitted to the United States District Court for the Central District of California and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
